Akihabara Maid Cafe Adventure

Most people have heard of these places. They are cosplay restaurants or more commonly known as maid cafés (メイドカフェ, Meido kafue) and butler cafés (執事喫茶, shitsuji kissa). Found in cities outside Japan such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Canada, maid cafes are places where the otaku and pervert in us can go have some cake and oogle girls.

The guys over at Moeside.net went on a maid cafe adventure and documented the whole thing. Apparently the strawberry shortcake was good. But that wasn’t the only good thing. If you become a frequent visitor, you can build up credit towards prizes.

And by the looks of it, this cafe loving client happily splurged all of his stored up points. Rapidly releasing them, so to speak, in one quick but satisfying shot.

Cake? There was cake too?!
