Anheuser-Busch Brings Korean Soju Stateside

Everyone is pretty much accustomed to the crappy americanized version of sake, a flavorless brother to the real deal in Japan. Well hopefully they won’t screw it up this; Anheuser-Busch has recently announced plans to bring soju brand Ku stateside and in force.

Soju (소주) is an alcoholic beverage with origins in Korea. Soju is clear in color and typically varies in alcohol content from about 20% to about 45% alcohol by volume (ABV), with 20% ABV being most common. Its taste is comparable to vodka, though it is often slightly sweeter due to the addition of sugar in the manufacturing process.

Time to get drizzunk Korean style with some soju.
