Japanese Corn Kitty

Here in America, pets are spoiled. In Japan they are either strangely neglected or they are pampered beyond belief. One strange habit of owners is to feed your animal what would be considered non-traditional pet food. One common practice is feeding cats rice aka nekomeshi / 猫飯.

This owner apparently owns a cat who’s favorite food is corn on the cob. Seems pretty strange that one day sitting there they thought, “hey cat, want some corn on the cob?” But then again I can’t really talk, I give fancy cheese and Thai chili sauce to my cat. She is well versed in the realm of the culinary arts.
