Reflecting on Stupidity

June 4, 2008

Today’s Dilbert reminded me of a quote from my freshman year roommate that just help to add to the confusion of how the hell did he get into the same school:

“Everywhere I go, I carry two sacks so that if someone asks me to lend them a hand I can say ‘Hey I would like to but sorry, I’m carrying these sacks.'”

I really think that if he were to have had access to a sack repository, he would of been walking around with those two sacks all the time.

MaoChan is Going to PAX!!

June 2, 2008

Paint me brown and call me a goofer! It is official that MaoChan shall be trekking out to the Seattle area to attend PAX. While not a big deal to most, this is my first trip to somewhere totally new in awhile. I have never been to Seattle and thus I am very excited. I hope I can finally meet some readers and maybe even have a drink with you (psst… you’re buying).

I will keep you up to date on the happenings and in the meantime catch me on the PAX forums trying to find the best party possible in Seattle that weekend. It isn’t a party if The Party isn’t invited.

Cyanide and Happiness

Cyanide and Happiness

While the above comic might make you think that Cyanide and Happiness is nothing but a comic about copious amounts of lube and anal sex with men, I can assure you that it is not. Just as in life, there is more to it than just anal sex.

From the strange and to the sometimes almost nonsensical, the comic provides a look at situations in life. Maybe not your life but definitely mine. The randomness and acts of violence towards strangers. I didn’t mean the 12 man butt orgy you jerks.

Stickmen.

Portal Cats

VG Cats Portal

As I think most of the world knows, since a ton of traffic came via the 300 comic post, that I read VG Cats. It is a great comic drawn by Scott Ramsoomair who’s only downfall is that I wish he would post more comics.

Now we all know what Portal is. From the cakes, costumes, toys, and probably soon to be butt plugs, everyone and their brother is riding on the Portal bandwagon. And since conformity is cool, so is MaoChan. Hence let us combine two passions, VG Cats and Portal. All wrapped into one nice bloody, humorous and cute mess. Like that drunk chick on the rag you scored with last Saturday. OH DAMN!! I did go there.

Party Escort Submission Position.

Dont taste me bro

And for good reason when you yell out a phrase like “Don’t tase me Bro!”

Rofl Waffles for all.

Toothpaste for Dinner

August 8, 2007

Toothpaste for Dinner

Crappy drawings, crappier text, great comics. That is the fast and sweet on the webcomic Toothpaste for Dinner. Drawn by a dude who might as well be named Grizzly Adams, Drew also has two conures and two pug dogs. The comic, just like its namesake, is full of randomness and has no central topic, just how I like it.

On his about page he actually has a video of him drawing a comic, which he does by hand with a cheapo Bic rollerball pen. And you can see that all the text in the comics is actually his own crappy hand writing. I am just kidding, this comic rocks. I would draw a webcomic but I don’t want to show up any of the pieces at the Louvre.

Hilarious.

Reenacting XKCD On Thrill Rides

July 19, 2007

ChessCoaster

We covered XKCD awhile ago, the comic is a hilarious mix of math, relationship, and random jokes. One joke was setting up a chess board so when on an amusement park ride, it would look like you are playing chess.

Apparently people everywhere are getting into this, sneaking cameras and chess boards onto thrill rides. Some photos are better than others but kudos for trying. You won’t see one from me, as I am a chicken too manly for those rides. Last time I went, I just used some butter on my feet and skated on the rails. It wasn’t that fun surprisingly.

And Mate.
